Je pro test DNA potřeba krev?

U většiny testů je odpověď NE. Vzorky DNA pro naše testy se snadno a bezbolestně odebírají třením sterilního aplikátoru o povrch ústní dutiny. Aplikátor absorbuje buňky potřebné pro analýzu DNA. Toto se nazývá bukální stěr. Jediný typ testu DNA, který vyžaduje vzorek krve, je specializované prenatální vyšetření.

Jaký je věkový limit pro test DNA?

Test DNA lze provést před narozením pomocí prenatálního testu a kdykoliv během života. Stručně řečeno, neexistuje věková hranice pro test DNA.

Jak obdržím své výsledky testu?

Výsledky většiny testů jsou odeslány do 7 pracovních dnů po obdržení vzorků. Některé z našich složitějších testů trvají déle. Výsledky jsou zasílány v elektronické nebo písemné zprávě, která obsahuje informace o potvrzení nebo vyloučení biologického vztahu.

Jak přesné jsou výsledky testu?

Aplikované technologie v testech DNA přináší velmi přesné výsledky. Výsledek testu “potvrzení vztahu” potvrzdí biologický vztah s pravděpodobností vyšší než 99%, zatímco výsledek testu “vyloučení vztahu” potvrdí, že neexistuje mezi testovanými žádný biologický vztah se 100% jistotou.

Jak správně odeberu vzorek?

Nebojte se! Pokud při odběru vzorku sterilním aplikátorem důkladně třete vatový konec aplikátoru o povrch vnitřku úst, odeberet tak dostatek buněk pro analýzu. Vždy se přesvěčte, že jste vyplnili požadované informace na obálkách se vzorky!
