Gypsy-Rose Blanchard has confirmed the paternity of her unborn child using DNA Diagnostics Center’s Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) test, sharing the DNA test results on Instagram on November 5, 2024. This comes after rumors suggested her estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, might be the father, despite their separation earlier this year. Blanchard, who became widely known for her involvement in the murder of her abusive mother, revealed in her post that Ken Urker is the father with a court-admissible DNA report from DDC. She expressed relief at finally addressing the speculation, saying, “We’ve known for sure from the beginning, but it’s time to put all these theories to rest.A key benefit to DDC’s highly accredited NIPP test for Blanchard is that the results will ensure that Urker will be named on the birth certificate and granted parental rights.

What Is Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) DNA Testing?

DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC)’s Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) testing is a safe, non-invasive option that allows expectant mothers to determine paternity as early as seven weeks into pregnancy. Unlike invasive methods, DDC’s test requires only a blood sample from the mother and a cheek swab from the alleged father, to deliver results with over 99.9% accuracy from our AABB-accredited lab.

What is the Process to Get a NIPP Test?

To get started, we will arrange an appointment (either separately or together) for both mother and possible father at one of our 3,000+ collection sites nationwide. To ensure court-admissible results, as Blanchard‘s report includes, the identities of both parties are verified at the time of collection. Discreet testing options are also available if the possible father cannot or is unwilling to provide samples in person. Samples are then sent to our AABB-accredited lab outside Cincinnati, Ohio where our advanced testing can analyze and compare the DNA, providing an answer within just three to five business days.

Why Choose DDC?

At DDC, we understand the importance of trust and accuracy. As the only AABB-accredited and American Pregnancy Association-endorsed prenatal paternity DNA test, we are proud to provide reliable and confidential results that families can rely on.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s journey is a powerful example of how NIPP testing can empower expectant mothers, with many couples choosing DDC’s test to answer important questions with confidence and privacy. We’re honored to have played a part in providing the answers she needed.

Whether you’re facing questions about paternity or simply seeking peace of mind, DNA Diagnostics Center is here to help with safe and accurate testing you can trust. Contact us today to learn more about how we can support you in finding answers.
